Despite our best efforts to discourage such behavior, Lula has started walking. I know, I know. Ya'll warned us this might happen. But who would have thought those twenty-five pound weights we tied around her waist would only make her stronger? Now it would appear we have no choice but to parent a toddler. A really bulky one.
In other news, Chris made a notable effort to remove his left thumb with a jigsaw last night. As luck would have it he was unsuccessful. The one good thing about the frequency with which Chris finds himself injured is that his tetanus shot always remains up to date.
You have one of the most beautiful little girls I have ever seen. Perfection.

How cool...walking. I'll bet she was surprised when it first happened. There's no stopping her now! I see the picture of her in her car seat that faces forward. How does she like that? How is Chris doing with diapering with his hand? Tell him to stay out of trouble...
